Services Offered

Individual Therapy Sessions

At this time, I am only licensed in New York and Florida and am seeing clients virtually using a HIPAA compliant video platform. I expect to be fully licensed in Massachusetts and Illinois by the end of the year.

We would start with a phone consultation (10 to 15 minutes) where you will have the opportunity to briefly describe why you are seeking therapy and what services you are looking for (unless you aren't sure, which is also fine!), and ask any questions about me or the therapy process. Finding a good fit is extremely important for treatment success, so we will discuss this, and will continue to assess our fit during our first few sessions.

Sessions are typically 45 or 60 minutes and are usually weekly, although I do see some clients 2xs per week, as needed. Session length and frequency will be discussed and customized at the beginning of treatment.

Fees:

45 min Individual Sessions: $200

60 min Individual Sessions: $250

Group Therapy Sessions

Group therapy can be a powerful tool of self-reflection and connection – providing a sense of relief and healing from finding a group of people who relate to your individual experience or feeling.

It can also be a powerful tool for self-development and relation – allowing challenges in communication and connection with others to play out in a safe environment through which new skills and understanding can be developed.

Currently, I am not facilitating any groups, but plan to in the future.

Fees will be discussed and agreed upon prior to the first session.

Individual Supervision

I provide consultation and supervision to mental health professionals of any kind who are looking for guidance on diagnostic issues, conceptualization, treatment planning, and implementing interventions.  If you are looking for a fresh perspective or ongoing support in using this approach please contact me to discuss your needs and options. I am also available to work with LMSWs who are working toward licensure.

Fees will be discussed and agreed upon prior to our first meeting.

Currently I am only seeing clients via teletherapy.

Teletherapy FAQs

What is online video therapy?

Online video therapy allows me to provide high-quality treatment to you in the convenience of your home, office, or another location. Using web-based video conferencing software, I would provide many of the same types of therapy that are available in-clinic, with the same personal attention and quality as face-to-face appointments.

What are the benefits of online video therapy?

Online video therapy has obvious benefits, like eliminating travel time, parking, and other concerns that can interfere with in-office appointments. But some patients find they prefer video therapy, and feel it’s more effective because they find it easier to open up about their feelings when they can do so in a private, comfortable space such as their own home.

Is online video therapy as effective as in-person therapy?

Several studies comparing online therapy with in-person therapy show it to be equally effective for certain types of treatment. Research also indicates that several mental health conditions can be successfully treated with online video therapy.

What do I need for an online therapy appointment?

For your online therapy sessions, you’ll need a computer with a high-speed internet connection, a camera, and a microphone. You’ll also need to be in a quiet, private room during your appointment. Once an appointment is scheduled, you will receive a link via email or text, which will allow you to connect at our scheduled time.
